On October 4th, almost 500 people were arrested in Trafalgar Square while holding carboard signs opposing genocide and the proscription of Palestine Action.

In a system that glorifies violence, greed, and deception, those who live from love, for each other and the Earth, are left with little choice but to make a stand.

This was the largest mass arrest carried out by the Metropolitan Police in over 60 years.

Those arrested included retired doctors and nurses, clergy, disabled people, teachers, grandparents, and others from all walks of life.

They gathered in silent protest, holding placards in defiance of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the UK Government’s complicity, and its move to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation.

On Saturday 9th August 2025, in Parliament Square beneath the statues of Gandhi and Millicent Fawcett, 522 people were arrested.
