A photographer I follow on insta clued me in to the fact that one can be more free here with artistic expression than on that platform (nudes, etc.), so I may start using it more for photography and art than discussions like fb. Thoughts?

Yeah but the irony is that Paxton’s opinion lacks the authority to order the agencies to reverse those actions, not to mention the due course of law and due process clauses of the state and federal constitutions.

The state and federal legislatures continue their hateful, discriminatory, anti-constitutional attacks against the transgender community. It’s pathetic. But it’s also very frightening.

There are three branches.
The LEGISLATURE writes the law
The JUDICIARY interprets the law
The Executive ENFORCES the law AS WRITTEN by the legislature and INTERPRETED by the judiciary.
These “executive orders” are an UNCONSTITUTIONAL ABUSE OF POWER

Be vigilant y’all. The T (and all subsequent letters) has been erased from the US Government’s international travel website. This used to be for LGBTQIA+ travelers. But to the new government, trans and intersex people don’t exist. This is beyond alarming.

So fukkin scary!
