Personality-wise, he’s quite different from Milo. I wanted to write a main character who didn’t follow an overused template, so he leans toward anti-hero. He doesn't want to be a hero, he’s very ambitious, and impatient! (He has a lot to learn... :))
Thank you! Honestly, it's been 15+ years since I first wrote that book, so not 100% sure! I'm thinking probably (pictures of) Milo from Atlantis, although I saw that film much later.
Here's a start on The Infinity Key comic, with my main character, Simon! I'm aware it's not great, it's not (yet) detailed, and it's wonky, but I'm happy I started!
