Was trying to work out why I feel so crashy today. Wondered if it was the leaking sink hassle, then I listed everything else that went on during the week and now I’m not surprised I’m having a crashy weekend. I’m tired of having to over extend myself to keep a roof over my head.

I was really really wanting to sleep in today. Instead, I woke up at a regular time *and* thought I had to work.

Hope you can get more work like that if that’s what you’re after.

This applies to so many things this week.

I said home care should be needs based not aged based. Also included a bunch of examples of where basic care gets neglected & doctors get off consequence free, I said bad clinical practice needs to have an impact on accreditation.

I don’t doubt AI crap has impacted D2Ds operating costs, but punishing the users who aren’t doing anything wrong is bullshit, and communicating it poorly is a stab in the guts on top of the shit sandwich.

People who think $12/year is nothing & that people are upset over nothing need to shush, because you’re clearly living with better financial resources and therefore your opinion counts less.

Yeah talking with the social worker about what in home supports we could realistically expect for mum to go home and yeah they really would rather spend waaaaay more shipping people off to nursing homes than supporting them at home :/

It really does. I’m not able to hustle and write full time, I’m too unwell . So I get financially punished.
