Thank you! That's actually a really interesting observation made from a single art piece, and I can't say you're wrong haha.

I kinda botched the flowers but here's their symbolism:

-Hyacinth: rebirth, a promise of fresh start
-Deadly Nightshade: betrayal and danger
-black roses (mine look poopy brown tho 😭): hatred, despair, death and rebirth
-ladybug as a symbol of hope used by The NEABPD

Rebirth of Jinx, from the shimmer running through the cracks to the symbolism of the flowers, I tried to give a bit of depth to this one.

Ponyo's dad, a dude in a pink cloak with messy orange hair and blue eyes. Oh and very very big blue under eyes.

We all wondered how this man pulled Ponyo's mum, and we still do. Ngl I was gonna draw Howl and Sophie, but then he popped up on my feed and I felt a strange need to draw him. Is this what Ponyo's mum felt 🤔. I have to draw her too in the future.

"Wake of spring" is an entery for a contest I did a few weeks ago. The theme was seasons, I liked it a lot and am thinking of doing an artwork for each season with a similar vibe to this one. I sketched it traditionaly...and then proceeded to colour it on my phone for 10 hours...
