It's slightly harder to work with, but it's so cheap compared to silver nowadays that I could keep stock of pieces

It's not permanent, you just use it instead of the included light and thread it into the lightstick instead of the tube

I doubt it. I learned to use Rhino on a Macbook back when they released the first beta, and that was a complete rewrite of the UI so that it looked like a native Mac app
It's probably always been there on windows but that button already has 2 other functions
