That's true! I enjoyed the bits about whaling! I had no idea it was so absolutely horrendous. The bits about actual whales though, those I would encourage people to skim. We have Attenborough now!

It's free for a digital copy! I would honestly recommend an abridged version though, the technical sections are a LOT.

Finally read this beast after 13 years of Ben asking me to. Chapters of whale facts aside, loved the story, and honestly there was enough gothic to keep me 'hooked' (lolz) all the way through #booksky
