Truly a strange feeling to have grown up with the internet being your refuge and cherished resource only to have it become utter shit and realize that maybe you don't need it and in fact can't use it the way you used to anymore

Tech people actively say shit like "what's the point of learning about history, only the future matters" and then in the next breath share deeply weird and incorrect interpretations of history.

remarkable how much worse the internet has gotten over the last 10 years. search sucks, websites clogged with intrusive ads, platforms are almost all shit or being torn up on purpose, linkrot, etc
