Head and neck and shoulders of a chicken-like bird with a crest. Its feathers are a delicate pattern of a thousand shades of brown.
Ruffed Grouse are such cool birds. They can be *right there* and still hard to see. It’s aways exciting when you catch a glimpse!

Spotify shoves the lyrics to songs at you, whether you like it or not, which means I can finally sing along to the Skyrim soundtrack
Hi Marco! Looks like you already found us by email. Love your music!
The Eurasian #bluetit is a small facultative insectivore who happens to be able to see ultraviolet light. The intensity of its yellow underbelly correlates with the number of carotene-pigmented yellow-green caterpillars it consumes

HUGE shoutout to @aurumek.bsky.social for painting our capsule for Alight. He was an absolute delight to work with and inspired us with his work!

It's time! We've just announced our upcoming game, Alight, on Steam! If you'd enjoy cozy vibes, one surprisingly athletic grandma, and a story about aging, memory loss, and companionship, we'd be honored for you to check it out. Link below

I love this one in particular. It's a delightful scene!
This is very good
Three cartoon children face each other in conversation in a softly painterly winter scene
An elderly lady, in a slightly cartoon style, approaches a waterfall and pond near the edge of a wintery forest
In a 2D scene, an old lady stands on the landing of the stairs in her lighthouse, looking into her living room. The living room contains a table and chairs, a comfy green armchair next to a bright orange, retro-looking radio, and a few other small furnishings and decorations
The bedroom of a cartoon lighthouse is shown. An imperious looking thin cat sits on a small bed tucked under the spiral staircase. A cute potbelly stove stands in the corner. Large dormer windows point off to the left and the right of the room

Cool game by a cool person. If you played #cultistsimulator as a demon. Makes me think of the Bartimaeus Sequence - one of my favorite fantasy series
Thank you, but I'm afraid that I've already found an artist to work with for this particular project
Gosh, I appreciate it but since writing this post, I did find someone to work with!
I would prioritize drawing quality first! Perhaps I'm naiive as I'm new to working with handdrawn animation in a game, but it seems relatively straightforward to get it into engine. 3D would be a little more tool and engine dependent
Question for the #gamedev s of Bluesky - if you were looking to find an animator for 2D drawn animation, where would you look first?
I have since found out that Godot's docs themselves say that physics don't apply properly if a scale is applied. Personally, I consider that surprising
Set the initial velocity in code of a rigidbody3d. You also get the same effect if you apply an impulse instead
Realized the issue while doing trajectory calcs and wondering why a shot that should never be able to make it past 1000 units was sailing far, far beyond that.
Not tryna start anything, but I've had back to back days with head scratchers in #godot that turned out to be what I'd consider engine bugs.
Today's: if you set an object to travel at 50 meters/sec but the object (or it's parent) is scaled to 2x, it instead travels at 100mps, even set top level.
Spent a lot of late nights with my nemesis and savior, the pen tool, putting together the map for Forum
But LOOK AT THOSE COASTLINES!!
(worth it)
Also thanks Ptolemy
