That's why I believe so many people have to create the idea of "you're with us or against us" because believing someone else is wrong is much easier than admitting you have flaws in your belief system.

The whole idea around faith is a slippery slope since so many people have just believed it for so long that the idea that their belief might be wrong implies that an entire part of their identity doesnt exist, which is pretty scary to think about.
