Fair point, it’s still kinda why I’m always teetering on changing it up or not T.T

I feel like I’m constantly at war between keeping with my stylized way of drawing Stolas’ face, and shifting over to a more canon-accurate version of him. On one hand, I like how I draw him, on the other, I feel like it would be a lot more recognizable? Idk, I’m working on it lol

Stolas looks touched. He brings a hand up to cradle Blitz's face as he says, "Oh, Blitz." Then he pulls Blitz in for a kiss. There's some deep smoochin and once they pull back, Stolas has a flirty expression and says, "Allow me to show you just how sure I really am ❤️" Blitz is grinning and his tail is curled into a heart shape. Oh they're about to get NASTY 😘

Deep breaths though. Trying not to let this shitty start to the day define how it will go. I got a sweet treat before class, and OwlPlosion kicks off later today. Today will be good.

No reason for it to be 80F in April, and also falling on the very same day my car just shit the bed, so I had to drive my brothers car to campus with no AC that perpetually blasts out hot air to the drivers side no matter the setting T.T also bad time to have thick, long hair.

Not sure how I feel about the pinks I chose (based off two different tiger lilly colors), but I’m feeling good about the rest. Gotta render this bad boy, but I’ll wait and reassess how I like the colors in a few days before that.

If I did an art stream tonight would people be interested in watching? It would just be me drawing and listening to my Petsals & Thorns playlist while I work on artwork for it.

Blitz starts to pick the groceries up off the floor as he says, "I mean, I'm no chef boy-hardee, but I've only set the kitchen on fire ONCE since you moved in! So that's gotta count for something, amiright?" Stolas' expression isn't clear, but as he watches Blitz he thinks, 'What am I doing...?' Then his expression comes into view: Stolas has fiery hearts in his eyes and he's biting his bottom lip like he can hardly contain his horny energy. He thinks, 'FUCK cooking.' Out loud Stolas says, "Actually..." Blitz's head snaps up and he looks surprised as he sees Stolas start to remove his shirt. His tail is perked up and the broken heart symbol on his forehead reverts into a whole heart again.

I’ve honestly started stepping away from social media because every time I come across a doomer post psychoanalyzing what Brandon says I just feel stressed for season 3 when I want to be excited for it.

Kinda want to get a subtle Stolitz tattoo, but idk what it would be yet (or where I would put it) so that’ll be plaguing my mind for the next week or so.

Life is too short to be minimalist with decor, so I’ve made it a point to get obnoxiously over the top picture frames for every helluva print I buy. These frames finally came in so now the Valentines prints are on my wall (also realizing just now that I gotta get better lighting for that top shelf)!

Oh yeah I would be devastated if any of mine got ruined. I’ve seen some people ship out their standees wrapped in bubble wrap, so maybe that will protect them from damage in transit?

Perhaps, but I’m pretty sure it’s still manufactured outside of the US so I don’t think it was done because one place was much cheaper than the other due to all the bullshit happening rn. I think this was just them trying to go elsewhere to increase profit margin at the expense of product quality.

Oh 100% the swapped background was a big fuck up. I’m just not sure if it was an issue with how Shark Robot submitted the files to the manufacturer, or if it was a manufacturing error to begin with. Either way, not a great look as far as quality control.

Yeah the hole in the stand for the background goes way too close to the edges, so even with the correct background it’s still very prone to snapping when you insert it.

The quality drop is honestly so disappointing. I’m very worried for the Valentines stuff I already have coming in the mail. Hopefully the base for those will be less prone to snapping.

Snapping if you aren’t treating it like a fabergé egg. Unless they switch back to their old manufacturer and return to their old quality products, I don’t think I’ll be buying any more standees from them (I especially don’t like the face the design isn’t sandwiched between layers of acrylic).

So I was very lucky to have ordered both the Bee and Blitzø standees, and can say 100% switching the backgrounds had them fitting perfectly. Even assembling the others very carefully, the opening for the inserts goes uncomfortably close to the ends. Which still makes every standee susceptible to
