Today is the anniversary of my dad’s death. He was 43. He died instantly from a cerebral aneurysm. I was in college. That was the worst call I’ve ever gotten. Today is also St. Nicholas Day. My father was Dutch and we’d celebrate with full stockings. My memories are conflicted. 😔

I make a big a$$ batch of boozy aged eggnog every year. I had a little left last year and bottled it. Allen and I enjoyed some last week and it was amazing! The longer it ages the better! Crazy, I know.
