A group is given a task to accomplish. The more success in the task, the more money they will have at deliberation.
At delibs, players can choose to steal from their indiv share. If more money is stolen, an RNG elim will happen. If more money for the final prize pot, an elim vote.

As an ESL person, is there a word, in the vocabulary, to describe the texture of pliable wafer?
One of my favorite textures ever, usually achieved when a once-crunchy-wafer-sandwich snack nears its "shelf life" date.

Recent compromise are "soft" wafer sandwiches.
"Day 3... blew up the house... Don't hate me!" or "[I vote to evict] my best friend, Betty"?
Depends on the culture of the country as well.
My local BB also sometimes awards winners based on how much the money could change their lives after a mostly good-mannered showing in the house, as our local BB's mantra is "being true to yourself".
Controversial winners could still arise, for sure.
To be fair, this can also be achieved in audience-voting big brother (A-V BB) with enough coordination from different fanbases.
But, A-V BB is not without its fair share of WTF winners, and might be a reflection of the dominant audience's values. For instance, how did Helen Wood, BB15 (UK), win?
I was honestly thinking because of a slight fear of a miscontruing by the edited show/producers...
But, I remembered how the tt fans last season were seeing things differently from the same feeds/clips π
Hello Philippines and Hello World?
A quick glance on Wikipedia shows that BBUK transitioned to not giving eviction % since its transfer to Channel 5 (CBB8 and BB12 onwards), year 2011.
For all the faults of my local BB, 2005 debut, I'm glad that they still show eviction % breakdowns, even if they can change voting channels midway.
I will retract the relation of the quote to the practice of A-V eviction b'downs, as the quote is not related. My bad.
[Numerical] b'downs have been much more in my mind recently because of my tinkering idea.
---
My viewing of A-V BB has the eviction % broken down to the audience, not the HGs.
Given, the quoted sentiment could be translated to the, older, BBUS version with regards to the eviction b'down.
BB: CΓ©lΓ©britΓ©s 5 (QC) introduced hidden b'downs to a newer-consecutively run H-V BB: Franchise (since 2021, og H-V in 2009).
H-V BBAU was filmed from 2020 to 2022 (last aired 2023).
I've thought before that the H-V eviction b'down is revealed as a continuation from the quoted practive of A-V BB.
Given, I have not seen/dove-deep-enough to BB1 to know this. But, BB2 (US) came before the H-V "Teen BB: The Experiment" (UK)... so, BBUS could have laid the rules internationally.
Also neat to know the difference of data vs information, where information is processed data - in this case, through the eviction process.
Relating this to #bbsky, I've thought that the eviction votes' breakdown are probably revealed, as a norm, to the HGs to accomodate for the few times the HOH has to break a tied vote.
I am for continuing to reveal such b'downs, as information drives "intentional" action over an unverified landscape
Various experiences this year has made me think much more about different perspectives on how different systems, or policies, are designed and how much do they account for the, potentially rare, "[human] errors".
I'm on the side of accounting such "errors" in line, or even over, with efficiency.
I think casting groups (or pairs, depending on availability) of previous-season alternates would be a fun caating twist.
Unfortunately, the Majority Rules HOH comp only asks you to stay with the majority answer, and is not based on an external survey (unlike Alison Rules in BB7, and surprisingly BBCAN3). Still a fun comp.
Not restricting to FF teams, but 4 pre-existing groups w/ no team immunity could be fun.
BB: All Family Feud teams (only one wins at the end, tho πβοΈ)
Then, comps are based around America's opinions (ala the previously prevalent Week 2 HOH comp: Majority Rules... Jen Johnson won an HOH for knowing America's opinions! I forgot whose opinions were asked for Rachel's)
So, BB: All Amazing Race Teams (and more, for sure, for sure)? πβοΈ
Though I'm curious, how much is your interest to see groups, instead of pairs, of loved ones/people-who-know-each-otha play a broadcasted social-strategy game? Fancast/s for this?
My bluesky dms are open for the server invite! π§ββοΈ
Today has made it clear that I might be addicted to Bluesky
How active, and open to invites, is the bbsky Discord? π
(3.9844/9) lays my rationale, along a compromise, to still keep the nom points perk, even if nom b'down has to be revealed to voters, the HGs πβοΈ.
---
nom'ees - nominees, the HGs nom'd
noms - nominations, plural of nom[ination]; referring to the nom[ination]s made in the round
(3.9844/9)
Tbf, I could just reveal the nom'ees' b'down.
The -4 pts perk is only for the NCW.
Other HGs will still have a 1 nom pt if they choose to keep their VTE, so the issue of reducing noms to less than 3, given -4 pts, will only be seen at smaller numbers. Just reduce the NC pt perks later.
Added three new skeets under (3.8/9) about the implications of a revealed nom b'down in this format.
(3.969/9)
...which is antithesis to my desire for the comp perks that, ideally, remain the same even for smaller numbers, w/ or w/o taking away VTE with immunity... given, H-V HOH only changes ability at F3, as a direct voter.
Personal touch leans no VTE + immunity.
Want to stick w/ pt perks, tho
(3.94/9)
It dawned on me that HGs in A-V BB do not get nom b'downs because they're not VTE-ing... in this tinkering, they are.
I'm admittedly less confident about the NC winner hiding behind a revealed b'down; if now given immunity: no VTE + no b2b wins. May revert to pt perks at later rounds...
(3.88/9)
I would like to clarify that my idea is for the NC and VTEC winners to be separate for the round.
But, the comps could be won by the same people round-per-round, unlike H-V (e.g. BBUS') HOH.
(4.5/9)
A jury of their evicted peers will award the winner.
An easy format is for everyone to be in jury.
But, there could also be a hierarchy of pts for the jury, with later-evicted jurors having more pts. If a tie occurs, maybe more high-juror votes win? If another tie, more indiv juror votes?
