Finished Monster Hunter Stories 3 and it's probably one of my favourite games. I always enjoyed the franchise but the story in these games was always iffy, so to speak, but ever since Wilds they've been upping the narrative.

The most surprising character to me in MHS3 is this little fella: Rudy!

I love this read on Rudy. I’ve seen some people (VERY understandably) bounce off of him, but for me, the character locks into place when you realize that unquestioning loyalty has been the core of his identity his entire life.

It’s good to see you (and I hope I am not misusing the term here) back on your bullshit. I can’t wait for this!

Checking our info against different historical documents and Romance of the Three Kingdoms translations was a fun challenge. (I do wish we got to be involved with QA, though, since I know some of the punny bits of map dialogue slipped by us.)

I somehow missed the title reveal of the third Talisman book and this nearly knocked me out of my chair. The Talisman was the first “grown up” book I ever read as a kid and I’m so excited for this.

A friend of mine was at a recent Yoko Kanno concert and told me she paid tribute to ORIGA, and I think seeing that in person would have reduced me to a sobbing mess.

I rewatched the show recently, and yeeeeep. I get that people never like the “no fun allowed” character, but when the “fun” is the horrendous stuff Walter gets up to… I’d say “it was a different time, people didn’t know how to parse media” but it kinda isn’t and they still don’t.
