i’ve been doing 1hr of ND-affirming TF-CBT teletherapy/week and that’s been helping me make progress. still, i’m looking into more specialized trauma therapists who are CCTP, CTRP-C, and/or do EMDR to address more of my past traumas to heal/recover & be in control of my emotions. we’ll see.
+ social like IAN GALLAGHER, it probably would’ve taken me longer to connect the dots that that i was having serious manic episodes that could go bad real fast, real quick… been able to handle my mood swings better with meds & awareness.
nor was bipolar disorder something i thought i could have but here we are! btw not denying bd. just the onset of it is so crazy… accurate tv/media rep is so important cuz had i not watched thru shameless (usa), i wouldn’t have detected why feeling unusually great about myself, erratic…
also i’m social again! was very depressed fr. ig new shit about me is that i got diagnosed with ptsd & bipolar disorder. not trying to be quirky about these disorders cuz uhh it hasn’t been fun..! coming to the realization i got fucked up so bad to develop ptsd was not on my bingo card fr-
