Are you saying Rian Johnson (or whoever his set designer is) rickrolled all of us?
I love that.

Managed to make it through the trials of the Endless Tower after that same boss soft locked a couple more times and I tried rebooting my PC.
I was hoping battling through all that would unveil a secret cutscene…but nope.
Oh well…
#expedition33
The Chromatic Braseleur in the Endless Tower in #Expedition33 has soft locked on me six times in a row now, even in spite of restarting the game.
Ridiculous.
PS: Revisited the Flying Casino now, and…all it is is a place to get a skin for Monaco. That’s it.
…and that’s the second time #E33 teases having a casino area but not actually having a casino area. What’s up with that?
I really wish I could turn down the volume for that one specific sound effect or just straight-up disable it somehow. #clairobscur #e33 #expedition33
One hyper-specific criticism of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33:
As I am in a situation where I need to play with headphones, it has been super annoying that the sound effect that blasts when a character triggers a picto effect is way too damn loud. Only that sound effect has this issue. #E33
Given that it was reportedly known that Sandfall had used genAI back in April, why did @indiegameawards.gg allow E33 to be considered for one of their awards under their own rules in the first place?
This takes away from what could’ve been a meaningful statement.

I know I’m late to the party on Blindspot, but the show sure knows how to stay exciting — and S3 E14 “Everlasting” is such an incredible surprise. Felt strongly reminiscent of a certain Star Trek: TNG episode in all the best ways…
#blindspot
Aw dang…had no idea Pluribus had an ARG going!
So curious about how you made this… 😮🤫
Which UK news outlet is this?
I’m sure E33 will be a top contender…
The moment the fog cleared in The Game Awards surprise unveiling of a brand new Mega Man game set to release in 2027. A redesigned Mega Man emerges from an energy chamber of some kind…
I’m still riding the high of the surprise announcement of Mega Man: Dual Override…and it just struck me that the wait between Mega Man 11 and this will be longer than the wait between Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong. 😮
Capcom better be bringing some serious innovation to the series!
Truly made me wonder whether they hired a stagehand specifically for the purpose of helping him swap instruments out. What a legend!
Congratulations to @sandfallgames.bsky.social for all of your victories tonight at #thegameawards!
I have only just made it through Act 2 and am glad I waited ‘til The Game Awards aired as I suspected the teased DLC was coming.
Only question is, does one need to beat the game first to play this?
…anyway, this accompanying announcement makes me wish I knew how to make 3d art. #megaman #megamanisback #thegameawards
…actually, this version of the reveal trailer doesn’t include TGA’s orchestra playing Wily 1 from MM2 over this reveal, so if you’re watching that video and wondering what I’m talkng about, that’s Capcom’s fault for not including the music here for some reason.
I know it looks like a straight-up sequel to Mega Man 11, but I don’t care. I’m so deliriously happy right now.
The moment that little bit of Wily 1 from Mega Man 2 slipped into the music, I just knew.
OH MY G-D
A NEW MEGA MAN GAME ACTUALLY GOT ANNOUNCED AT #THEGAMEAWARDS!!!
I’M SO HAPPY!!!
(sorry not sorry about the all caps)
Wow. Whoever predicted Rowlf was going to show up at #TheGameAwards deserves a raise.
Who was that?
Destructoid?
PC Gamer?
…anyways…
(…not that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn’t violent, mind you. There’s quite a lot of dark and disturbing violent imagery throughout the game with plenty slapping you right in the face within the game’s first few moments. I almost thought I was playing Mortal Kombat with one environment…)
Wait…wait?
Wuthering Waves won Player’s Voice over E33, Silksong, and even Dispatch?
…how?
#thegameawards
It also must be said how so many trailers debuting during #thegameawards look and sound like countless other fantasy, horror, and/or hyperviolent games that have been seen before, yet it is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that is cleaning house tonight.
Take note, games industry.
Accurate
…and Lorien Testard wins Best Score and Music!
Well deserved…but objectively, what an impossible choice for that #thegameawards category this year. Christoper Larkin and Darren Korb conjured absolute magic for Silksong and Hades II respectively and should be celebrated.
Absolutely!!!
We’ve been waiting for Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat longer than that. Marvel fighters didn’t even exist yet.
…and sadly, Blue Prince did not win Best Debut Indie…but that’s all right. It did win several other awards at other shows.
#thegameawards
YES!!!
Hollow Knight: Silksong won Best Action/Adventure Game!!!
I’m just glad Silksong won *something.* It would’ve been so sad if it didn’t win anything at all.
#thegameawards
Well, well, well…
Welcome back, Ms. Croft.
Back for a double header, I see?
I’ll be excited if this reboot employs Breath of the Wild’s ability to climb anywhere you want…but it probably won’t based on the linear look of the trailers.
