What a joy it has been to see old friends, make new friends, eat some of my favorite foods and share about God’s good news for all our intimate relationships. Thank you to everyone who came out! Atlanta, Berry College, Chattanooga, Nashville - these memories still bring me so much joy!

I am headed to Urbana 2025! In just about 2 weeks thousands of young adults will be gathering to grow in their faith, leadership skills, and vision for God's global mission. I am honored to lead a breakout session on the Art of Friendship: How God Changes the World Through Relationships

So for this first Sunday of Advent, I invite you to take a few deep breaths, read this poem slowly and deliberately, lift your eyes and see the others in this open field around you. We are here for #knowingandbeingknown. This Advent, we wait together.

Basically, there isn’t another book out there like this. The stories are both familiar & foreign. But their insights demand our attention.

This #offtheshelf #minireview is a long time coming. I learned about this book while finishing my manuscript. Though I wish I had read it soon enough to include in my own book, honestly, it’s a blessing b/c I might have had to add new chapters to cover the overlap of material.
