I think you’ll find Andoni didn’t want to go in mid season which is why he turned down Leeds. He’s a bit like his mentor Bielsa- only likes to take over before a season starts (one of reasons Bielsa was less keen on joining #afcb after Parker sacking)

I don’t think contracts mean much for managers. If and when someone bigger than us comes in for him and he thinks he’s ready he’ll go. I guess it’s just a case of what compensation we get if he’s still under contract with us #afcb
