Its beginning to feel like summer again ✨

A handsome, muscular, winged man sits atop a stone spire, his eyes closed with a light frown to his expression, he is made of a dark marble stone, with cracks appearing over his body. --- This was only meant to be a quicker study, two days at tops. It turned into a real challenge, one that I couldn't overcome very easily, and it took a lot out of me. I have so little energy as it is these days, and the problem with that is that my ability to comprehend problems and work solutions to them is incredibly diminished. In this case, it was making the wings feel both like stone, how the light behaves and bounces off of itself. In the end I went with a darker marble, because when I aimed for white stone, the reflective properties of it boggled my mind a little too much, and I began to hate the work. Hell, the main figure of the man? Done in an afternoon, more or less. But the damned wings went through maybe 3 or 4 variations, rounds of changes and feedback. I ended up with a solid design, with imperfect light, and I have to be OK with that now, because otherwise it'll drive me further into madness XD Overall though, it's a strong piece, and I think ill offer it up as a print, I just wish it hadn't taken so much out of me to do.
