Last week, I had the privilege of attending SPR and presenting more of my research within the PACER lab, working to better understand the morphology of the LPP in controls and depressed individuals — grateful for a chance to meet/chat with so many scientists interested in similar questions!

Had a wonderful time at #SRP2025, where I had the privilege of presenting some analyses on whether specific illness features drive blunted emotional reactivity in MDD — thank you to everyone who made my first SRP such a lovely experience!

Abby is a 2nd year PhD student in the lab; her core interest is in the neurophysiology of depression, using EEG to help characterize the disorder's mechanisms. Outside of the lab, Abby enjoys catching up with friends over coffee, finding new music, and spending time with her cat, Pippin.

Thank you to the wonderful professors at Gordon (especially Dr. Dan Norton), my incredible supervisors Dr. Dan Dillon and Dr. Arkadiy Maksimovskiy, and everyone who has believed in me throughout my academic career - I wouldn’t be the scientist or person I am today without you all, truly!

Here's some basic guidance to alt text:

What context does this image add? Does it change the meaning of the text in your post?

Describe the image like you're describing it to someone over the phone.

What's the focus? What's around that? Anything in the background? What's happening?
