My mom is doing much better today. Much more alert, but still disoriented. Still very confused. Talked with the nurse, she’s going to ask the MD to d/c her antipsychotic. They have a benzo if she needs help sleeping or if she becomes agitated. None of the options are perfect, but a benzo is better.
A boss you can trust is worth their weight in gold. I’ve been lucky enough to have a few of those.

Oh! Poor boy! I know how he feels. We have a line of spruce trees behind our house. When they release their pollen in the spring, everything is coated in a fine yellow powder & I’m miserable.
