about agreements.
Someone made half a $billion in a few seconds yesterday and $750,000,000 has now been bet.
While the world suffers with high fuel costs, resulting in higher goods & groceries a future of decreased food production for lack of fertilizer, the rich get richer.

Dung beetles have a tough life. Climate change is making it worse Not exactly the poster child for cute animals, dung beetles now join the list of species affected by human-caused climate change.

#ResistanceEarth

It's hard to love dung beetles. Even their name is a turn-off. But they play an important role in soil fertility and livestock help and reduce fly populations. They're sensitive to heat, and their numbers are dwindling due to climate change.

As always I am most grateful. The children are facing an ego filled, compassionateless, revenge filled leader. An extremist supported by extremists who choose harm over humanity. Stand up for a future in which all children have worth & can feel belonging

The Arctic is thawing and releasing vast amounts of carbon β€” ancient carbon that has been locked away for thousands of years. #ResistanceEarth

This carbon eventually reaches the ocean, where some of it turns into carbon dioxide, intensifying #globalwarming. www.sciencedaily.com/releases/202...

Study shows thawing permafrost releases much more greenhouse gas than expected Thawing permafrost emissions could accelerate climate change as Arctic soils become 25x to 100x more permeable, releasing much more gas.

#ResistanceEarth

Scientists expect 42% of Arctic permafrost to melt by 2050, which is bad news given that it stores some 1,700 billion tons of carbon. A new study finds that that permafrost begins to release CO2 when it reaches -5Β°C to 1Β°C, before it fully melts.
