Whilst I get that & broadly agree, it doesn't mean SKS hasn't been utterly hopeless & conducted himself in a manner unbecoming of a PM

The only reason I don't want him fired is because I don't want Reform or the Tories anywhere near government - not because I think he's the right person to lead us.

Waiting for the media clamour for Dubai Dicky's resignation

(And no ...... I'm not holding my breath).

"Most competent prime minister we've had for some time" isn't an especially high bar I'm afraid as you're comparing to Liz Truss & Boris Johnson

He has just not grasped the challenges of the domestic agenda & made stupid mistakes

The Mandelson debacle was so unnecessary & born out of incompetence

Who ever said Tony Blair was anything other than continuation Thatcher ?

You're right - he absolutely continued on the same path and with the same results - the costs of which we still feel today

She says things under the cover of parliamentary privilege. So she won't find herself in court over anything she's said. But it does make her look very very stupid.

She just shouted Anna Foster down - half the time you couldn't hear what either was saying.

Yes I heard that and it was absolutely a clusterfuck of an interview.

There's bad and useless and then there's Kemi

The kindest thing to do would be to lock her up in an asylum

Media meltdown incoming !

The wouldn't give a stuff if it was anyone else !

Neither would I - he'd probably stab me !

I doubt he's lying too. He's probably been a gullible twat but then again, all those shouting from the side lines now were equally taken in. Badenoch approved at the time as did Farrige. So they can all go forth and multiply (preferably in Magaland)

A further reminder that all those criticising Starmer now were saying he'd played a blinder when he originally appointed him.

I mean there's hypocrisy and then there's just downright utter bollox.

I'm no Starmer fan by any means, but all those calling for his resignation over this can sod off !

Well, if you want to do a cost analysis, you need to balance it against the cost of doing nothing.

By any objective measure, Brexit has cost us a bomb. No cost of rejoining will be more than that.

And then there's all the other reasons to rejoin on top.

They'd be better occupied looking at the shadow economy - especially all of that vat and income tax dodged by people working cash in hand (Billions).

Could it be that so many Reform voters benefit from the black economy that it's not that convenient to look into ?

Plus รงa change !

Well the dog certainly ate Badenoch's interview notes !

Just heard her rant on Radio 4 - goodness, she is so utterly incompetent and useless !

Even as she lies (repeatedly) about her own urging the govt to enter the Iran war, she has the chutzpah to call Starmer a liar. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ

Funny how they don't make a crisis out of people dodging vat by paying in cash, dodge income tax by working in the underground economy, dodge jail by drink driving ..... I could go on.

It's easy to pick on the most vulnerable and kick them whilst they are down - isn't it ?

Prioritising those whom they see as showing the greatest commitment to the club ......

As someone who has entered just about every ballot in the last couple of years (with naff all success I might add), I ought probably to fall into their top priority ..... but I'm not local so who knows ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

With just 250 tickets available, I would imagine your chances of getting one of those are around a tenth of what they would be in the normal ticket ballot.

In other words a tenth of almost nowt ........... ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿคฌ

...... like the Norwegians. A squandered legacy.

Vital public services sold off and since managed disastrously.

Thatcher was the most hated PM of her generation and would have been kicked out earlier but for the Falklands War.

Her legacy blights us to this day.

...... for the housing market and for young people.

Growth was concentrated in services and in the City of London - most of the rest of the country languished in the doldrums and still does.

North Sea oil revenues handed to her city friends instead of saved in a sovereign wealth fund ....

Can't say I agree I'm afraid.

Thatcher decimated our manufacturing industry and allowed our supply chains to be offshored - that is hurting us now.

She sold off council housing and didn't allow the proceeds to be reinvested in new stock. That's been a disaster .......

And doing absolutely nothing !

Israel is still committing crimes with impunity with arms supplied by the US. Not seeing the boycotts, diplomatic isolation from the rest of the world that South Africa was subject to

Narendra Modi was there a week before the Iran war saying Benjy is my best friend !

Thatcher was no guru or messiah. She fucked the UK over so badly that decades after her demise, we've still not managed to pick ourselves off the floor.

The world would have been a better place if Thatcher had never existed

For people like you and me for sure - For our politicians however, afraid not. Many have been bought an paid for by powerful lobbyists.

But here's the thing ......

Israel can, and Israel does.

It's all performative nonsense !!
