RFK Jr in a nutshell.
I’m from a family of readers, but when one of them showed me RFKJr’s “the Real Anthony Fauci”, I knew exactly what to do.
Public health is too important to leave things to chance.

The freedom to not drive.
Pros: Reduces fatalities Reduces injuries More people biking Less pollution Economic boost Less congestion Healthier population Kids biking/rolling to school Safer sidewalks Helps address the climate emergency Increase active transportation More inclusive spaces Cons: A driver might get mad If only the pros outweighed the cons.
Yet for most municipalities the "Cons" outweigh the "Pros"!

“This country is too big for trains.”
Have we tried making them fast?
Prague just opened the new Dvorecký Bridge. It's exclusively for trams, buses, bikes, and pedestrians. Private cars are completely banned.
an underrated, unforgivable belief that remains prevalent among pols and normies is that a rising tide lifts all boats when it’s been clear forever that a rising tide simply drowns the people on low lying land
France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.
Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars
The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.
Why aren't we doing this?
He addressed the press and labeled the information as false. It is imperative to address this dishonesty appropriately, as such behavior is unacceptable.

For all those still feeling the moon joy—Artemis II was brought to you by public schools and publicly funded science. Copy that! 👩🚀🚀💕

Ah yes, replacing Khamenei Sr with Khamenei Jr is “regime change”. Got it.
Same in the UK. I was told in a council meeting that "everybody drives" in an area (suburban Nottingham) where the census says 24.9 % of households don't have access to a vehicle.
Retail parks are more profitable for retailers because they are cheap sites which externalise the costs. We all pay for the huge road infrastructure serving them and the harms that arise from car-dependent society.
7. I’ve said for years that if wrong decisions are made due to #NIMBY fears, it won’t be NIMBYs I mostly blame (altho given the obviousness of our crises, “human nature” doesn’t excuse them). I’ll blame decision-makers who knew better, had the information and evidence, and still did the wrong thing.
6. We should ALL expect that our leaders, who are supposed to learn much more about the need/context for change than most of us will know, will be responsible enough to make the right decisions even when unpopular.
And NOT do the opposite, which is rage-farm populist lies about change to get votes.
My poster for No Kings March tomorrow.
We're of the belief that people who get around on foot, on bikes or on transit have a greater appreciation for our city and the tiles that make up its gorgeous mosaic than people sitting in cars zooming through neighborhoods rather than stopping to enjoy them

Most of us may see Trump waging war with Iran, but he and Jared and his fellow grifters see an opportunity to further enrich themselves day after day. And if American men and women sacrifice their lives and thousands of others die? Just collateral damage to these criminals.
“If you care about the bottom line, budgets & taxes, then you should care about urban biking, because it’s a money saver. It’s ironic when so-called fiscal conservatives attack biking, when their efforts just show a lack of understanding of math.” — @brenttoderian.bsky.social with @modacitylife.com.
There is no solar power crisis. No wind power crisis. No insulation crisis. No heat pump crisis. No e-bike crisis. No electric bus crisis. But there is a #fossilfuel crisis. And a #climatecrisis.
“Compared with non-active travelers, the cyclists had a 19% lower risk of all-cause dementia, a 22% lower risk of Alzheimer's, a 40% lower risk of young-onset dementia (before the age of 65), and a 17% lower risk of late-onset dementia.”
Getting around a bike more often could reduce dementia risk.
Your life isn't shitty because of Trans people. Your life is shitty because of billionaires and republican legislation.
When the establishment media wants you to believe that we can't stem the rising tide of far-right politicians, let 'em know you'll see them on the barricades.
Paris shows the world we CAN beat back those "make everything suck again" con artists.
