I wonder what the budget will wind up being to “De-Donald the Dreadful Décor” by removing all the tacky gold bric-a-bracs and filigrees that gratuitously adorn every vulgar surface.

a more simple bonsai planter. same basic dimensions as previous one. Don't worry, the glazing will erase the yawn factor 😂

kurinuki bonsai planter (interior dimensions should be about 4x6x2.25 after firings)
starting to make time to make my own work again, feels strange not just making things for class demos/examples.

Missouri bill to overturn voter-approved paid sick leave clears Senate committee • Missouri Independent A Republican-led push to overturn the paid sick leave law adopted by Missouri voters last year was approved by a state Senate committee.

In case anyone still needs proof we do not live in a true democracy.... the people "we" elect into office (through voting districts manipulated by them) can overrule the will of the people

The Words Federal Agencies Are Discouraged From Using Under Trump (Gift Article) Federal agencies have issued guidance to employees on hundreds of terms to limit or avoid using. An analysis of government websites shows many of the same words being removed.

Welcome to Trump’s America, where use of the word “women” is restricted.

yup there are some of us out here. I've started dismantling my IG and don't really pay attention to it at this point. it will be null by the end of the month. I personally cannot justify supporting right wing politics to help myself... but that's a decision we all have to make for ourselves *shrug*

💥 BREAKING: At John Deere's annual shareholders meeting today, shareholders overwhelmingly rejected an anti-DEI proposal brought by the same group that targeted Costco and Apple. An anti-DEI proposal from the NCPPR received less than 1 percent of votes.

We're happy to welcome SK Reed to Artaxis. These images are from their recent installation, "The Unreal". The walls are painted with unfired clay slip. The clay beams mimic light radiating from behind each ceramic work. Learn more artaxis.org/artist/sk-re...

I mixed a spoonful of lithium carbonate in water. maybe 1/2 tsp in 1/4 cup of water? applied just enough that it leaves a hazy white residue over the underglaze before firing

it helps seal the surface and create a slight satin sheen
