Looks wonderful :D
I'm curious, how did you make the highlight / stroke around mouse hover objects? I'm planning to do something similar for a prototype project I'm working on
Went to Nordic Game Jam 2026 and made this little slot machine game. It was an awesome experience participating in a in-person jam, got to hang out with so many awesome people!

It took me 2 years and 5000+ hours to make this indie game.
And it takes you 2 seconds to engage and maybe change my life.
It's called Maseylia: Echoes of the Past. A 3D platformer metroidvania inspired by Moebius, releasing in 2026.
You can also add it to your wishlist to help us stand out!
If you're attending this year's Nordic Game Jam, then be sure to check out the panel on how to do worker co-ops in Denmark.
And make sure to stop by our booth that I'll be sitting at all weekend for a chat.
I don't want photo realistic video games!

What started as a rough early prototype has grown into a full-fledged game in the making with buttery smooth animations to match!

It's so true, it's almost as if the answer you need lies latent until you do something unrelated :D
My friend and I are working on a small block-pushing game (Sokoban-like, if you're familiar with the genre), where you play as a ghost and can pass through boxes. It's our first commercial project.
SokoGhost: Unfinished Business will contain 100 different levels and 6 different map features!
Work your way up through the corporate ladder of the Box Corp Skyscraper and see if you can find redemption for Greg.
Game comes out on Thursday!

I love going back and seeing earlier design drafts and builds. Really gives a sense of progression and momentum.
Also being able to jump between domains is great. Tired of coding? Do some art. Tired of arting? Do some influencer outreach. I love indie dev for that!
A colossal underworld is waiting to be explored #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #screenshotsaturday #pixelart
Incredible artstyle!
SokoGhost: Unfinished Business is a puzzler where you must think through the box to win!
Can you beat all 100 levels of the Box Factory?

This is the state of our Miro board for SokoGhost, 5 days away from releasing. It's a big spaghetti pot of Game Design Documentation, Kanban Board, Marketing Planning and everything else you can think of.
How do you structure your work?

Hi #screenshotsaturday here's what I've been working on today: Credits
While not the most flashy thing, it signifies a very exciting thing for us: we're almost done with the game! πππ»

Thats a great tip! Cutscenes definitely seem to give games a boost in production quality and makes it feel more rewarding
That's a good way to do it, will the new mechanics then be used in the following worlds? As a sort of introduction of what's to come?
i playtested this one, it's such a fresh story and unique piece of art that's absolutely worth your attention if you're down for something weird and unforgettable, so go buy it!
Question for all the #puzzle #indiedevelopers: How do you approach the finale of your puzzle game? Do you create an extra difficult level, build a boss encounter or maybe something else? How do you stay true to the core puzzle experience but also give the player a satisfying ending?
#gamedesign
Hey game devs, I am begging you.
If your game starts with a cutscene, that's totally fine. You've got a story to tell, I get you. But PLEASE let me get to the settings so I can change, among other things, the volume.
PLEASE.
Slightly different post but want to shout out the japanese concept of #ikigai
We work towards our ikigai through hobby game dev beside full time employment. While exhausting it's also incredibly fulfilling!
Find your ikigai and give yourself time every day to move towards it π

The movement of the particles add so much life and atmosphere to the scene! It's a great addition I think :D
Hey #indiedev / #gamedev.
I'm building up a starter pack for #storydriven indie games.
Tag anyone (or yourself) you think should be added so I can check them out!
I'll be posting updates about my own game soon; working on submitting the steam page for review tonight.
