Quoted posts are showing, but that is only because I have that function turned on.

You can also add accounts to a list to keep an eye on them without having to follow - I use this for event accounts and such.

you can add people to lists, and then display the list as a tab (in app) andi think by default it does not show reposts :)

been using lists and never looking at my following feed for over a year and it's much better.

the point im slowly getting to (others seem to have said) is dont necessarily take follow count to heart.

I know that's harder said than done, but they are correct in saying that unfollowing is way better than muting.

Muting over steps what it should be doing on here.

I rarely look at my following feed, unless i wonna see a tone of Reposts from people :D

And muted words has helped kill off soooooooooo much i didnt like seeing, it's really helped me build my comfy echo chamber 🥰

... i have accounts added to lists, and these accounts I do not follow. For example, events, artists, and people wonna see occasionally but they post too often, or QT/RT lots, etc.
