I gave a panel at #SAFE2026 (almost 2 months ago lol) about my laser-cut cardboard badge with an e-ink display on a Raspberry Pi. One of my greatest achievements ever. Thanks to everyone that came to see me!

A battle with big bad birds, and a single (1) gigant spider in the background. Our warriors are: Strykert (dragonborn, sorcerer), Meragh (elf, artificer), Athyra (gnome, warlock), Nalten (dragonborn, barbarian), Caelus (human, paladin), Malonco (goliath, monk). Strykert is about to die (again) but Nalten is coming to save the day!

I (the green lizardboi) spent 3/4 of the battle unconscious (as usual), but I lived to tell the tale.

you know it's gonna get serious when you get the CAD software out.

Went to do a fast laser CNC cut, but everything went wrong:
didn't have the material, bought one that was too thin, took a bit too long to meet the guy at the printer, and I had second thoughts on the design. It needed way too many layers to hold the Pi and itself.

so, I had this issue where I moved the lines from Affinity to AutoCAD... and they were all destroyed. So I had to redo a lot of the badge
