But like, has Dallas gotten the best out of Lundkvist? An offensive defenseman on a VERY good and talented team with a track record of developing young stars has as much offensive production as a guy everyone here hates in Schneider. Lundkvist also asked out after spending one season in the system.

I know points don't tell the full story, but Lundkvist was touted as an offensive defenseman and is 12-43-55 in 235 games. I'm not going to lie and say I've kept a watchful eye on him, but those numbers don't seem to jump off the page. Him and Schneider (not an O-Dman) actually have identical PPG.
Dan Muse looks like he’s never laughed.
Its scary that Dave Jackson was a ref for that long if he didnt think that should have been a penalty.
But that fight against Canada in the Four Nations was pretty cool ...
And then next year we'll get the 'Is this finally Carolina's year?' think pieces. Rinse and repeat.
How are we still talking about the Olympics?
It's an annual thing with that team. They've won nothing but get praised every single year. It's crazy.
I hate the Flyers, but I can't stand the Penguins or their fans.
I sports hate Jake Guentzel. Prob my least favorite guy in the League.
Unsure how they called that a goal on the ice.
I definitely wasn’t defending it. Just that it seems like an MSG thing.
I dont think Leon Rose of the Knicks ever speaks either.
I'm not saying that's how I feel. I'm saying that I think the front office (including the coaching staff) doesn't feel this roster needs major change because of how the season ended. I think they're wrong.
Rempe isn't good. He does nothing except be big. He's been passed by Chemlar, Sykora, Laba and Edstrom. No thank you.
My bold prediction from a few weeks back was that Matt Rempe never plays another game with the Rangers, and I'm sticking by that. He's been passed by a few guys on the depth chart.
For sure. And its not like they were steamrolling teams. They'd win 4 and follow it up by losing 5. When healthy, yeah I think this team could be in the mix for a wild card spot, but I don't think anyone should be hoping that as the ceiling.
I really feel like the 'run' to end the season is going to completely change the approach to the offseason. I fully expect Trocheck to be here in October. I wouldn't be shocked if Sheary is extended, either. They think this team was derailed by injuries. I think the roster will look very similar.
Him and his wife sat next to me once up on the bridge and it was hilarious. His wife was angry the whole time for how they were playing.
For sure. With that said, 3 games is a very small sample size. Remember Mackenzie Skapski? Ha
I'm convinced he's your cousin or something hahah
Finally, another podcast.
I don't think Drury ever really WANTED to move him and that's why he didn't. I think this 'strong' finish to the season gives Drury the feeling this team isn't that far off (especially when healthy). I can't see teams upping their offer for Trocheck and I absolutely think he's here come October.
With the win last night #NYR currently 4th worst. Best outcome tonight is Flames beating the Kings in overtime/SO. Flames pass NY via the RW tiebreaker and NY finish 3rd worst. Also pulling for ANA to lose in Nashville b/c Kings would avoid Colorado in Rd 1. LA pick becomes 2nd if they get to Rd 2.
Was off by a goal.
I feel Drury thinks this team when healthy can compete and thus Trocheck wont be traded this summer.
Just got lost in a numbers game.
Im soooooooooooooo sick of this damn NYPD concert. Jesus Christ.
Brandon Halverson revenge game. Love it.
