Got to see BODYCAM tonight with a bunch of cast and crew doing a Q&A afterward. Fun movie! It lost me a little at the very end, but it sticks to the found footage premise and does it well. I do love seeing Calgary in a movie

I’m enjoying Paradise season 2. I do miss some of our season 1 friends, and that is definitely getting in the way of my love for it. Brown is so goddamn charming though it’s unbelievable. The smile is brilliant.
Finally saw Abigail. Not quite my tempo. I think it’s in a weird spot on the scary-silly spectrum. I also don’t think Melissa was doing anything interesting. Abigail actress good for a kid though especially.
Got to see How to Make a Killing early, and it certainly is a Glen Powell movie. It’s fun! Cute and charming and then sort of sad and infuriating. It’s clearly attempting to be Dickensian and succeeding in a way. Ed Harris is always nice to see.

Insurance company just decided that they’re going to do a cash settlement for our siding instead of fixing it. The contractor says it’s unlikely the cash will be enough to actually pay for it. It’s so cool that the insurance company can just decide to rip us off!
The phrase nepo baby is gradually being stretched to encompass all children of wealthy people, and I think that’s funny.
Unbelievable episode of tv. I think Flanagan has a few specific weaknesses, but everything here is fantastic.
