I had a brie and curry pizza whilst in Rome.
I have dreamt about that pizza.
I reckon one of her kids has stayed up past their bed time.
These people are ridiculous
Infectious diseases killed about two thirds of soldiers in the American Civil War, rather than actual fighting
@searls.bsky.social @lentesta.bsky.social hey guys, just listened to Breaking Change and we need an international scale for the introvert as I think 1 American introvert is like 0.5/0.6 British introvert.
While I am firm in my belief Starmer should go, and soon, isn’t it weird we’ve got sucked into a side argument over the process for a security clearance for Mandelson, the turning down of which had nothing to do with Epstein? It’s the British political class at its worst, I think.
I'm not sure, think he might have an issue post humble address and not mentioning the vetting issue.
All about the US now, they've done their damage to the UK
If it's Sting, it'll be Stewart Copeland's neck.
Telegraph newspaper editorial on Mandelson's appointment in December 2024 versus editorial today
That's a neck needing a cravat if ever I've seen one.
Above Emily Thornberry, below Prince Miliband
I can't take this much horny :(((
Or just a dumb stick you've got to beat him with. Accepting gifts is fine and within the rules, you know about it because it has to be declared.
But yes, the guy who I know how many kids he has versus the guy who I don't are totally the same people.
I promise to get you some nice Welsh cakes and a love spoon xxx
*bangs rhythmically on the table*
Wharton! Wharton! Wharton!
I'm cursed that every time I hear Amy Winehouse's Rehab I'll get angry that Mark Ronson put such a harsh filter/gate on the vocal.
And once you hear it, you can't unhear it.
Indeed.
I don't think it's an absolution and haven't said as such.
I've just pointed out the differences between Johnson and Starmer scandals and how they have played out.
I haven't once stuck up for the Mandy appointment here so I'm not sure why you are getting really uppity at me.
It was a monumental fuck up that nobody seemed to care about until the files dropped. Everyone has got very uppity about it afterwards though and not at the time of the appointment is the point I was trying to make.
It isn't whataboutism because I'm making the point and giving the evidence that both of them have played different politics when it comes to the canning.
Starmer did the process to do the blunt thing, Johnson did not. They aren't the same type of political people which is what I've tried to say.
And you are overlooking the point that there is a fundamental difference between Johnson who wanted it because he felt it was his earthly right vs Starmer that is a dog that caught up with the car.
I can't give enough evidence that they are different people when compared for you clearly.
I'm not vindicating, I'm giving you historical perspective between the two you've forgotten.
Patel kept in post after a bullying report
Cummings survived until he walked
Patterson only walked after weeks of pressure
Pincher was diabolical
Mandleson was gone after a report was delivered
It might be the same boat as in scandals re appointments, but the point I've tried to make is that Johnson's downfall came from the ability to stick up for everyone until it was unsustainable to keep in post where Starmer has canned people quickly. They are not the same type of person.
And if he hasn't been told the vetting has failed (which is the evidence so far) then his problem is why didn't he question the appointment?
Again, he isn't like Johnson, because if he was we'd have Dominic Cummings moments again and again.
... To which newspapers and commentators (who also knew) said it was a great appointment at the time.
And unlike Johnson, Starmer has not (to this point) sent messages to his mps to "form a square around the x-ster" to ride out storms or lost ethic advisors constantly.
If you think the nuclear-powered supercarrier USS Gerald R. Ford is the most powerful ship in the world, you are wrong. It's actually the German cruise ship Mein Schiff 4 (pictured), which successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend
I doubt Starmer will ever call spending money on historical sex crimes as spaffing money up the wall. Or never answer questions on garden bridge funds. Etc etc.
Can we see you in Cardiff soon, my daughter loves your books, and I love reading them to her :)
Watching The Rapture at Coachella.
Echoes came out in 2003.
Fuck.
For those revving up their bad media takes, this is a consumer advice column and not a news story.
