I've been hunting for a copy of DROIDS for many a year.

One finally popped up from my search notifications and wish lists.

I think I'll have to give it a pass.

I've run the original edition a few times, and played the new one once, but only for the one session - not long enough to really get a hang of it.

I'm hyped. My gateway to D&D was Greek and Arthurian myths. This is my second time playing a half-divine Greek hero with all the classic flaws that go with that. This time I'm the child of Hermes & Melpomine.

Still Grotto is a sea cave that was used by pirates and smugglers until very recently. As of last week, it became the "summer lair" of a dragon that is recovering from treasure hunters attacking its primary lair.

The Pilgrim's Mug

An inn and tavern that slowly grew (along with the local settlement of Ember's Gap) from the small hearth of a hermit to this odd three-story structure.

The current proprietor still brews the hermit's bitter fire-barley beer, but never drinks it.

We are replacing my furnace today (yay, Good Friday, eh?) and that involves working on the main breaker box so I won't be streaming today.

At least I'll have heat again by this evening!

Started a new NGR campaign in a pseudo-mythic Greek pastiche.

Only 3 out of 5 players were in attendance last night, so our starting group lacked any kind of ability to cast spells or miracles.

Our ship (the Psychos) crashed on a beach of this previously unknown island. And the hexcrawling begins!
