I want to leave this year on the note that I'll be better. But I feel like I know myself too well at this point, the second something triggers my anxiety, I just end up as the same waste of space as usual.

Come winter, I screwed up so bad that I basically ruined Christmas for myself. I could've faced what I did (or in this case, what I didn't do) and just talked it out with someone, but instead I just laid in bed all holiday telling myself I'm worthless. I've been nothing but a coward all year.

I want to say that all the headaches and struggle taught me something valuable, but I don't think any of it did because I didn't let any of it "in".

Like I just stuck my head in the sand until the pain just became numb and then I just... did nothing. I ran from all my problems.

Now's probably a good time to reflect on this year as a whole.

This year alone has probably been the most stressful of my entire life. I don't think I've ever been as miserable for as long as I was this year... Which doesn't really give me a lot of confidence for 2026...
