Thanks for everything!

I'm going to start sharing some cool art on this page this year.
You've been warned.
Every now and then I find an artist where "if they can get that many followers, I definitely can."
But then I'd have to actually post things, and nice try, I'm not doing that. π
Yaaaaayyyy!!! I was sad this didn't fit into my schedule last year, so I am thrilled I get to be a part of it this year! ππ
I was never warned about the identity crisis I would experience when becoming a new mom.
Turns out I was never warned about the identity crisis I would experience after being a SAHM for 7 years and trying to re-enter the traditional workforce either.
If you need it, consider this your warning...
My bathwater-drinking preschooler is just another step along the way to becoming my paste-eating kindergartener.
A few years ago, people told me I should draw more dragons. So now I'm doing it.
But is it better with paint splatter or NO paint splatter? Vote in the comments!
I made my first ever Yule Log. Happy Winter Solstice!
Where did these 3 more backers come from?! You awesome humans!
9 minutes... π±π±
Final 4 hours...
I genuinely really appreciate all the different kinds of support I've received these 30 days. Obviously to my backers, but also to the people who liked and shared and cheered me on. I kind of adore the writing and reading and comic book community. π
I've spammed all my social media. I'm 3 Kickstarter backers away from 50. Do I believe in miracles?
*whispers* maybe ππ

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,
it is right.
No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,
it is a strength.
No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,
it is unlimited.
Congrats!
I made my comic only 8 pages. And I made it print from home so it was low stakes and low cost.
Not having to illustrate a whole graphic novel meant I got to the finish line sooner and got to put my book in people's hands sooner...
I put humans in my world. And had to learn to draw things like hands and feet and faces and bodies.
But the one thing I did which I'd recommend to anyone starting out in comics...
Emphasis on SLOWLY.
But I chose to write a comic about demon potatoes. Surely I could draw potatoes, right?
I could. But I made one mistake...
So after publishing a number of comics I'd written, I started drawing and told myself I'd illustrate my own comic.
I figured if I at least drew an hour a week, once a week, I'd slowly get there...
So I started writing a comic.
And found myself collaborating with other writers and artists in a way that lit up my brain.
The only problem is that when you're surrounded by talent, it makes you want to try things...
Short stories lead me to the horror community and a group of weirdos who accepted by twisted sense of humour.
No one accepted my dark side more than my comic loving friend, Haydes, who told me I should write a comic.
I told him he was crazy...
Turns out I was really good at writing the first 12,000 words of a novel. Not so much the rest.
So I started writing short stories...
I never wanted to get into comics. I wanted to be a New York Times Bestseller.
But here's how failing at being a novelist lead me to creating comics...
There's only 6 days left to back my Kickstarter. For all you last minute ADHD procrastinators... Your time is coming!
Weβre putting together a horror anthology! If you are a NEW comic creator (writer/artist/both) you should totally submit here:

Is today the day I do my Cover Reveal for Demon Potatoes #2? π€
Welp... I got past some major commitments, so obviously it's time to be sick now.
My friends!!!
We hit the first stretch goal for my Kickstarter last night. π±
That means I'll be doing a cover reveal for Issue 2, so stay tuned!!!
