I am probably the only one complaining over this, but the sound effect when you click on stuff in Paralives is too much in your face for me personally. I wish it was softer because it's something you hear constantly.

They stated they will work on the lag during early access period.

I fear this will not do them any favors and the community will rip them apart over this.

In my defense I wanted to know how to make a kitchen. I started one a few years ago but it may got lost in the deep end of my WIP folder. 👀

I wonder how many Simmers really use the outer corner counter. I believe I only used it once in my very early years of gameplay. I mostly build small L frame kitchens.

Oh and I wanna mention I closed the EA app before I canceled the EA Background Service in Task Manager. I felt it should disconnect one time. If you wonder what it does, it watches over your game updates, the EA app update and cloud service.

then repaired the game, deleted the resource file again and canceled the EA Background Service in Task Manager and finally I had no issues. I am so sick of this trial and error search though.

While I never had the error message you see everywhere, I had a crash after every new PC start but after clicking again it loaded okay. I then wrote a file that deleted the resource.cfg before launching the game. Honestly though that can't be it I thought and cleared the cache one last time,

If you used the easy method James Turner provided on his website to disable packs, I would like you to upvote this bug report.

Was it intentionally that you can't use the EA App anymore? Who knows. BUT we now HAVE to go though the Marketplace. Imagine that..lol

Working with the filters in the gallery was something to get used to. Somehow it shows most favorite as default and not by chronological order. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And why are all my Kits disabled in the pack filter by default?!

I run the new patch and all CC is there again and works. Now we only have to wait for confirmation of gameplay mods to be working.

My point was not that they reviewed packs my point was, when you find it so controversal what is the point in making a video about it. Totally get where you coming from.

It gets even better, creators got free moola into their account to review the packs for us and give their opinion about it. Isn't that nice!

If the marketplace flops and EA decides that the game is no longer lucrative and parts with Maxis, will the game still be in our libraries? Something I was wondering. I have no idea how a studio sale works obviously. Have you experienced this before with another game?

I hope they roll back given how badly the patch broke mods. They probably won't, but one can hope right?!

It's cc that is replacing something original, like eyes that are by EA, skin or teeth for example.
