Most of the students got into the idea of doing some sort of self portrait. I believe everyone was able to speak about their self portrait in class.
This week they are looking for “leading lines.” It’s a real abstract idea for them. Told them to be creative. I guess I’ll see how it goes.

I really hope this class likes the weekly photo prompts. They aren’t photographers, I just want to help encourage their discussions. Their first prompt is a self-portrait to let them express who they are.
Assigned homework, take a picture looking straight up and a reflective surface. I haven’t found a good reflection yet.

We took our boys to their first hockey game last month here in Tokyo. We all had a lot of fun. I got a souvenir puck and the boys bickered over who could hold it.
