I have a hard time seeing the draft as a similar category of event when there’s not what I would call real “action” going on and at games, the fans are part of that action to an extent. Wasn’t trying to put down anyone’s good time, just an event I can personally live without ever seeing live.

That's fair. I guess from my perspective, there's little added by experiencing the draft itself live, especially compared to going to the experience of an actual game. And it's fairly easy to be other NFL fans/talk about the Draft without wading into big crowds, shelling out for food and drinks, etc

It might not be a disaster, but it's gonna be annoying!

I appreciate what NFL draft crowds will do for our local economy but I don't have to pretend I understand why it's an event that anyone would find appealing to attend in person. You're standing there while they call names!
