DOCTOR DON! Vodka Tonight's a goddamn banger.
You see, those games are American and therefor nonsexual
For the record my "guitar store riffs" were this and Just Got Paid by ZZ Top www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ent...
I bought a new guitar
Kinda wild that youtube has stronger protections against people listening to a grunge song than chatgpt has against teenagers asking how to tie a noose.
a youtube search for "I hate myself and want to die nirvana" that is automatically redirected to a suicide crisis line
That's nice but I just want to hear the song
It's so over
I finished it for the first time a few months ago and yeah, this book really makes me mourn the death of whales. There's a particular description in chapter 81 that might be one of my favorite paragraphs I've ever read. 175 years later and Melville's writing still made me sad and fucking angry.
I need to buy a new guitar
That absolutely counts
iirc an HM2 was even used on Loveless. Super versatile for a pedal that famously kinda sucked.
Sick, I own a waza but y'know, can never have too many chainsaws
Very glad I got to see Frank Mullen on his last tour. Incredible performer.
How would you compare the eyemaster to an HM2 Waza? (If you've used one)
I see a lot of people demanding that artists "chud proof" their work which is to say, make it such that nobody with abhorrent beliefs can enjoy it. Sounds good, completely impossible when you actually look at it. If The Wall and Judge Dredd couldn't do it, neither can you.
Not sure what the correlation is but it's weird to me that there's a growing trend of people averse to any media that makes them uncomfortable and, at the same time, an increasing awareness of the most extreme forms of gore and pornography.
Adremochrone
It's a very terminally online assertion. There's being aware of all the very real creeps out there and then there's being so paranoid about it that you can't look at a fictional girl without jumping to that conclusion which, in and of itself, is a bit fucked up.
I don't disagree necessarily but my view of metal (and rock in general) in particular is partially based on the process of recording live instruments. There are styles of music where I think programmed drums aren't just equal but actually preferable to traditional drums. Just my perspective though.
I think I view the process of making art to be as important as the end result, is my answer. I don't view live instruments as "better" than electronic ones (love me some industrial) but I do view them as more authentic to *metal*, guitars especially. Is it arbitrary? Oh yeah, but that's just me.
it is interesting to me. I suppose I view programmed drums as a compromise but not necessarily disqualifying. Like, I want to record some solo stuff but don't have access to live drums so, while I view the process of recording live instruments as fundamentally better (for metal), it is what it is.
oh this is some frigid shit
YES
Map Change is one of the best songs of this century
A random Nichijou frame from EP23.
quite proud of this Gotrek I did last year. normally I do contrast for flesh but did the classic three layer method for this one. Also my first time attempting eyes (which turned out...fine) and freehanding a tattoo which I think looks good!
Reading Sword of the Lictor now, Severian's such a fucking fuck but I like reading about his little adventure.
Results screen for DDR - Meikyoushisui. EX score 1394
Results screen for DDR - Cue Cue Rescue. EX score 925
cleared two new 15's today, both on my first try. Think I broke through my DDR ceiling.
