If Vance and the cabinet were to invoke the 25th amendment, much as I despise Vance, I don’t think he would commit nuclear genocide. This would give us up to 25 days for congress to get together and ratify it.
Unfortunately if congress fails Trump will return and probably have Vance killed.

I hate to say this but they won’t do anything so that leaves us with the military to either:
1) refuse illegal orders, or
2) institute a military takeover of our government until sanity returns.
I hate both those options but our representatives are useless.
