I always try to be nice to my sister, as she's been good to me. But lately have to avoid mentioning politics or world news, she reads the Daily Express and watches GB News.
So much as I try to button my lip and stay quiet, I occasionally get triggered 🙄

I really miss being able to go on Google and find what I'm looking for, without having to see loads of bum information by AI not related to what I'm asking for. Then wading through pages and pages of advert sites trying to sell me something I don't want.

Even if you did want to risk going to the US for the World Cup with the chance of being detained at the border interrogation. Price gouging on everything makes it unaffordable to any normal person.
Tickets, Hotels, Buses, Trains, Car Parks etc all at least 4 times the price of previous tournaments 😬

Wondered why I hadn't heard the UK Eurovision entry this year? just heard it for the first time.

Bought a bunch of shaped vinyls in the early 80's
This one looked good but one big problem, had an autochanger record player at the time and it wouldn't play a 5'' disc. As soon as I put the needle on it lifted back off 😞

and like thousands of others I only bought it because it was square 🙄 The old days of gimmicks, just buying stuff because it was on coloured vinyl, picture discs, double singles, shaped discs etc.

Was shocked to pick up a round copy last year in a bargain bundle

Many songs from the old mixtape days, when the cassette got played so many times you knew what was coming
and a few that by accident ended up perfectly mixed into one another
