Bit of a long shot but does anyone have access to the Tank crew arc of Cadman? Researching for a talk at The Tank Museum ?

I can't quite believe how welly YouTube channel is doing, this video hot 100,000 views yesterday!

Nicely timed as I was watching Tiger 131 again at The Tank Museum and I shot lots more footage for the channel.
Quite pleased how the Heroics and Ross figures turned out, all ready to be used for the US Army's Dunn Kempf rules at Wargames Developments Conference of Wargamers.
The worst bit about presenting a conference paper is that awful moment when you realise you have to actually write it....
Interesting day yesterday using genuine cold war Soviet wargaming rules to run a reconstruction of a Russian attack into the Hoff Gap.

2nd update on my PhD is up, gives my progress for the last month.

I do enjoy going and taking photos for my talks.
That surreal moment when you are about to give a talk, think there might be something you might need to add to so you ask AI to check and it quotes your own work back at you as a listed source!
I'm not much of a naval gamer but I'm finding I quite enjoy Napoleonic naval games.

I'm starting to get into a new period for me, Napoleonic naval. I will not start another new force, I will not start another new force....

If I was writing a parody of what he was going today I couldn't have managed to be more satirical.
A great game last night as Like A Stone Wall
Wargames Group refought the Battle of Santo Domingo 6 Feb 1806.
That should read 3
2 and 3 player
Interesting afternoon playing the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring trick taking game. It's been fun playing solo after my daughter got it for me for Christmas and it was even more fun 4 player. Need to try the 2 and 4 player before I review it
My Post Christmas pre New Year project nears completion - a platoon+ of West German territorials in 20mm.
I think our Elf on the Shelf game has got out of hand...
Having fun today with a 1 hour paint. First time I have tried AK Markerpens on a vehicle. Quite pleased with the result
His performance was stunning, he captured Göring perfectly.
I went to see the stunning Nuremberg tonight. Highly recommended, full review to follow.

As a UK citizen, I'm no expert on US law unfortunately
I think it's very much intimidation. He's not pursuing the case in the UK as it is over the 12 month limit. Instead it's in the US and that means he has to prove:
1. It was freely available there
2. It actually damages his character.....
Fully aware (and I still argue the FT17 is an early attempt at power armour!). The ARL44 though struck me as the most Grimdark postwar tank I've seen (although a hover version of the Stv103 might look very eldar).
Is it me or is the ARL44 the most Warhammer 40k tank outside Warhammer 40k?

Slightly surreal moment at Sheffield Anime and Gaming Con yesterday, I was helping running the Tabletop Gaming section. One of the most played games was Secret Hitler, a social deduction game of 1932 Germany. Watching teenagers playing it and discussing Weimar Germany politics was quite refreshing.
It's just suddenly struck me how much the Imperial officer uniform looks like the Imperial Japanese officer uniform of WW2.
Really looking forward to presenting my session for Wargames Development's virtual autumnal gathering today about how the USMC has used Memoir '44 as a training aid.
If it goes well I might turn it into a YouTube video.

Add in Simon Scrarow's Macro and Cato and elephants, what more could you want!
A good way to look at it is to compare it to the Iraqi Republican Guard. There could be given the cream of recruits and equipment but it does not automatically make them better soldiers. Paying attention to the quality of the commanders gives a good insight into the quality to expect militarily.
