Rewatching Real Genius (1985) tonight and I have to say it ages pretty well.

I recently tried to buy a product from a company that clearly uses a lot of AI. The experience included them not sending my order, randomly sending extra orders, and then falsely trying to lock me into a subscription I didn't request. It was a disaster.

I'm sure that's a reference to "Colossus: The Forbin Project", but like this lot's LoTR reference soup he's never actually consumed and/or comprehended the media in question.

I can’t figure out if this name was on purpose or not. The book and this movie were made in the 60s so maybe a lot of younger people don’t know about it, but the movie, at least, doesn’t turn out too well for humans.
