later XSIs had a 1.6, still making the same 100hp (all you need in something so light), which is basically the same lump that'd then come in the saxo VTR and S2 106 rallye

the PI used a wiper motor as a fuel pump which was generally the cause of every single breakdown they'd have. Can retrofit a better alternative but I'd rather spend less money and buy a carb'd 2500S. can always fit bigger carbs or more to make up for the performance difference
