He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication master the art of karate
Lo, we shall rise up and then we'll make the bugger's eyes water

Here’s a not-Bible verse that is less well-known:
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives He releaseth my soul
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places 1/2
It’s true!
I’ve been battling henbit in the yard for three years and whatever ground I gain and replant, I lose the next year because that weed is RELENTLESS.
I may need a flamethrower.
Yay!
And the new Massive Attack with Tom Waits is exactly the kind of song I would've expected from such a collaboration.
Scored for my bookshelf. (Yes, I like the movie as a movie.)
It’s like this.
I’ve bought books from the library that I had checked out before. It was like bringing home an old friend.
The Federal Reserve shows that without Trump's tariffs, inflation would be back down to pre-pandemic levels. And this doesn't even include the more recent price spike due to the illegal Iran war. Biden's policies were working.
Anyone who thinks Republicans are better for the economy is flat wrong.
Thanks for asking. I’ve got my team all ready lined up. Appreciate the offer.
*Updates are irregular, every 4 - 6 weeks or sometimes longer in between because I'd rather spend time working on the fiction that telling anyone about it. You can find the cover there now and I'll announce the pub date when it's firm.
This generated some unexpected traffic and comments. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to edit and/or beta read. I really appreciate it.
If you want to follow the journey to self-publication I post irregular* updates that you can subscribe to on my blog: ajasont.wordpress.com/blog/
Thanks for asking, but I've got both lined up when I'm ready for them. Much appreciated.
Thanks for asking! I've got readers lined up.
I've got beta readers lined up for when it's done, Fredd, but really appreciate the offer. Thank you!
It sure has been! It's science fiction. The second book of a tetralogy.
I've got an editor lined up. Thank you for the offer, though!
I've already got my betas in place and an editor when it's ready. Thanks for the offer!
Thanks! I wish it'd gone faster! I appreciate the offer, but I've got a team in place when it's ready.
I put down the first words of Masque, Second of All the Devils, on May 9, 2023.
1,068 days later, I'm revising draft 8 and think there may be only one 'clean-up' draft left before it goes to beta readers.
I'm thinking that this book, still my favorite of all I've written, will be out this year.

They're home!
Pete Puma, yes!
He was so kind in person, too. I got to talk with him about Superman vs Wonder Woman.
I need to learn how to ask better questions when I'm using it to analyze data. I also have a need to make sure it's not hallucinating any conclusions.
I've dusted off the blog that's been sitting there waiting for a significant update, just for you, my friends. In this missive I mention Merchant Ivory, my friend Rob, and beg you to be a good citizen. More to come, sooner or later.

Today's been a full day with a lot accomplished at the writing desk. I'm gonna have this draft done in the next couple of weeks and then it's damn the torpedoes and full steam ahead into the next one.
This latest Peter Gabriel single, Till Your Mind is Shining (Dark Side Mix) reminds me of XTC.
