Liverpool were meant to be the fallible ones but this derby was decided by Everton's inability to overcome setbacks - disallowed goal, Beto's injury
Familiar derby story for #EFC. Frustration given how well they played in first 25

Sabres coach Lindy Ruff on this game adding to the team's playoff experience: "I told them right after the game, ‘You want experience? You’ve got it now.’ What an experience. If you’re going to say this is your first playoff game, you’ve got a great story to tell."
Completely agree! The PL is wrong: competition amongst more clubs is good for the league. Doesn’t have to be the chosen Sky6. Happy with progress made by Everton this year. Would’ve liked to see the younger players get more playing time, but you know Moyes will play veterans to try for Europe. UTT!
💯
STOPPAGE TIME EQUALIZER. 🎯
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall rains on Brentford's parade at the Gtech.
Good draw for me from Everton at Brentford. Everton better in the first half after giving up the first goal. Second best most of the second half. Never gave up though and got the equalizer in extra time. That resilience to find a late goal is so important. Serves the European charge well. UTT!!!
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has 10 goal involvements in the Premier League this season (7 goals, 3 assists) - more than any other #EFC player.
Tage Thompson on the highs and lows of the Sabres day: “It’s not enough to just get in. There’s other teams that are doing that every year. It's not that special. We want to do something special. And if we're playing like that, we're not going to.”
With the Buffalo Sabres making it to the NHL playoffs, the Jets have the longest current postseason drought in North American pro sports: 15 seasons.
Hey I made one! UTT!!!
The amount of that fine is no deterrent.
I am completely shocked and excited by this news! Boston College has seemingly not cared about b-ball and football in years, but this is a statement hiring! The school has a lot of work to do to support its new coach, Luke Murray. I hope they are up to the task. Go Eagles!

Would definitely buy a kit with Toyota on the front.
Everton's annual financial report shows the club made a record turnover in the year up to June 2025 of £196.7m. That is £9.8m up on 2024
The Blues debt reduced from £53.2m to £8.6m with The Friedkin Group also ensuring the football side of the business is now debt free. 1/2
Check the full video in the comments, not just the clip. All of these camera angles are fantastic! So cool to see the different perspectives. Amazing win! Go Huskies!!!
OMG! Can’t believe UCONN’s comeback over Duke!!! That 3 pointer from way downtown! What a win!!! Go Huskies!!!!
So happy for Garner! Well done. UTT!
Everton's match against Manchester City is set to be the Blues' 7th Monday night kick-off in the Premier League this season - no team has had more Monday night kick-offs (7pm or later) in a single Premier League season (West Ham also 7 in 1995/96). #EFC
Douglas has been pretty reliable.
No idea why anyone associated with TFG would tell the football world what the summer budget is, though. Just not good for business. I don’t hear the summer budgets for other clubs? Am I just not seeing them?
Other models available of course but Opta now has Jordan Pickford top of PL for 'goals prevented' this season
Finished top in 24-25 in same category
Consistently the best shot stopper in the league now
You could see the talent was there but he was too inconsistent and went missing at times. Now, he’s at the center of everything and playing his best football. Long may it continue! UTT!!!
Two sets of rules. One for the Sky 6 and one for the Other 14.
David Moyes says that was Everton's best home performance so far this season. He said "the fans did their part. It was more like Goodison. It was a really, really good night and a big thank you to the supporters for the help tonight"
Skiliman Ndiaye!!!
FT!!! WHAT A WIN AT HILL DICKINSON STADIUM!!! 💙
#EVECHE
Love to see it!!! Hope the atmosphere throughout the game reflects the injustice of the Chelsea “punishment “. UTT!!!
UTT!!!
Need to keep talking about it or nothing changes.
More people must continue to talk about the joke that is the “punishment” Chelsea received, or nothing changes. PL favoritism for the Sky6 continues . . .
Wonderful tribute, Mike.
