Excited to share that our MEG project is now out in Current Biology! We show how visual content codes relate to motor oscillations in telling time.
Huge thanks to Quirin Gehmacher, Peter Kok, Matt Davis and Clare Press (bsky links below).π§΅

@dotproduct.bsky.social's first first author paper is finally out in @sfnjournals.bsky.social! Her findings show that content-specific predictions fluctuate with alpha frequencies, suggesting a more specific role for alpha oscillations than we may have thought. @peterkok.bsky.social and I wrote a book chapter on how layer specific fMRI can shine light on disorders hallmarked by perceptual disturbances. This is part of a series on Perceptual Dysregulation in Psychiatric Nosology edited by @skhalsa.bsky.social and Al Powers link.springer.com/chapter/10.1...

Paper out now: Feedback to the periphery and fovea of V1 follows different functions. Contextual scene information goes to both regions. Object information to the fovea if it is task relevant. Thanks to my team @ccniuofg.bsky.social and have a good break now.
