When a joke is so good, but you can't laugh at it

If my wife couldn't take a compliment we wouldn't have made it past the first date. I give compliments to everyone i love. Real, heartfelt, meaningful compliments. Because what I've learned is...people assume you see yourself how they see you. That is RARELY the case.

I didn't like episode 4 of #Paradise (clunky tropes clunkily delivered), but the rest was absolutely excellent:

I like that it doesn't come down to big twists, but to the inherent tensions of the well-developed characters and apocalypse sociology. Hammy but grounded, exciting.
