As a resident, I’m extremely pleased about this.
There is a main road in Chepstow where it’s dangerous to cross. As a pedestrian it feels noticeably safer with cars travelling at a slower speed.
We need to prioritise people and the planet.

As a school Governing Body, we have developed our programme of professional learning alongside and complementary to the excellent opportunities that the EAS provides. This enables us to develop our understanding of and explore things that are important to us as a school.

This is sad news for our media landscape. The pod has produced some of the best content, discussion and challenge on a breadth of important topics for Wales. Wishing the team Blwyddyn Newydd Dda and the very best with their next chapter.
Ffan mowr o For Wales... Ac wedi dysgu eitha tipyn o'r Pumed Llawr. Mae Hiraeth yn parhau i fod yn wych ac o ran pod o bersbectif y DU mae rhai o'r gweisteion ar The Rest is Money wedi bod o safon uchel yn ddiweddar.

An enlightening listen which hints at important questions for Welsh in education today and tomorrow, such as 'why doesn't education currently create Welsh speakers/users?' and 'to what extent can the education system alone create new speakers?'
A pod on Welsh in education could be a neat follow up
These more favourable attitudes, it posits, in turn help to ensure that Welsh is modeled positively to speakers' children and transmitted within families to the next generation - a key pillar of success for achieving WG's Cymraeg 2050 ambition.

An interesting paper on implicit/explicit language attitudes to Welsh, with a suggestion that there is a link between higher/early exposure to Welsh (from primary school age) and more favourable implicit attitudes to the language.
This is a really lovely set of stories about late immersion in Casnewydd / Newport. We tend to think of parents making a choice of school language at 3 or 4, but there are plenty of opportunities for children to join Welsh language education at older ages www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGnv...
But as I'm getting older I'm realising that my identity is something I feel not what others prescribe to me.
More on Welshness through the prism of language - fascinating!
@willhaycardiff.bsky.social Absolutely loving the #ForWalesSeeWales podcast. The recent pod on Welshness and Mel's perspective in particular was fascinating (but saddening). I've struggled with Welshness having been brought up in South East Wales and learning Welsh as a second language. (1/2)
