My best archivist anecdote is the time I got in touch with the King’s theatre in Portsmouth to ask about an opera my mother had seen in the 50’s as a young woman. I got an immediate reply with photos & programme it turns out that the performance she had seen was on the day of her 18th birthday!

Sometimes I think cats fail to see the obvious in these situations… also I hope it’s not too comfortable and/or interesting up there either so she decides to come out ASAP 😄
