Since the passage of the Homicide Prevention Act (HPA), which strengthened our stalking laws, I’ve been meeting w/ victim’s rights groups, domestic violence prevention groups, & law enforcement. HB 1002, pre-filed for the ‘25 legislative sesh, builds on the HPA, to make it work better for victims.
